Hero Honda New Model Bikes Information in Q&A
is there any new model of bike from hero honda in india? i heard after the release of the special edition of hunk in hero honda, a new modified version of the special edition is going to be launched soon...is that true or ruomur????/if true means mail me its pic....

Steg replied: "I think it is only a rumour, there is nothing about it in press releases from Hero Honda. If it was true Hero Honda would put it in a press release to get some free publicity."

Rahul replied: "There are no new models in the lineup at this point of time. There is a certain arrival of the Karizma F1 a 325cc bike which I heard will be released by the end of 2009. Oct to be specific. There are no news about any other modified version of the special editions of the Hunk. It has to be a rumor."

when a hero honda launch a new model karizma 250cc? hero honda bike

Chrys replied: "this is the C A R aisle"

sunny replied: "no anouncements"

I found damage battery in my hero honda CD DELUXE BIKE MODEL 2005 WHAT CAN I DO NOW? SERVICE STATION REFUSED TO CHANGE IT i have guarantee card on which battrey nos. is mismatch with battrey nos. which is i have in my bike it was the mistake of showroom's but now they are not accept their mistake so they are refused to change it. actually paper work is in their favour.

Ashish Tank replied: "FILE A CASE AND FIGHT 4 UR BATTERY."

guardrailjim replied: "Buy a new battery and have the charging system checked. To be sure that your bike didn't cause the damage."

Hero Honda CD 100 SS motor bike 2000 model stops frequently while riding. Also engine stalls. Why? With that problem I approached a road side mechanic. He has done something and replaced engine oil. But the problem persists. What should I do?

Naomi replied: "have you had the fuel line checked?"

Give me suggestion about 125 cc to 135cc motor bike like Hero honda, honda, bajaj, TVS, yahama? I am plaining to buy new 125 to 135 cc(less than 150cc) motor bike. can you give me suggestion about the Hero Honda, Hoda(shine), bajaj (discover-125cc,135cc or other model). TVS , Yamaha,Suzuki thanks in advance.

ani the coolest replied: "my friend bought a bajaj XCD-125 last week , its lot better than others . only disadvantage is , it doesnt comes with disc breaks. else u can try HH glamour......."

M B replied: "Buy TVS victor"

xtremeshock replied: "yamaha gladiator, brilliant gear box, awesome handling and it gives u a big bike feel. just test ride the bike and u'll know what i'm saying."

Anil P replied: "hi, r u a first time user or you already own a bike. It depends on your requirement. I purchased XCD 125 after lot of research. If you want a 125 cc bike with gr8 fuel efficiency and at a low price then go for XCD. It has cool looks, gr8 features and good mileage. around 65+ kmpl in city and best part is its price, on road 45130 in gurgaon. Only demerit is lack of disk brakes. if you look for power & mileage, then go for Glamour FI or Suzuki Zeus. But if you want looks, power, mileage, price in one bike then, XCD is the best in 125 cc segment. No doubt abt it."

mobile replied: "I feel, in 125-135cc segment, there are only two choices. 1. Bajaj XCD 125 2. Discover 135 If you try to compare HH glamor, honda shine, TVS star city with these two bikes, you find them quite old fashioned or traditional type. Yamaha gladiator has little bit on styling but it can not be compared in performance. In my opinion, if you want fresh looks, better mileage and decent ride you should go with XCD. Discover 135 is a proven machine, also has catchy looks, comfortable ride, but has less mileage. I am giving a link of user reviews for BAJAJ XCD 125. "125 cc Bajaj XCD DTS-Si [Test Ride/Review]" "Bajaj XCD 125: Ridden!" on, "Review on: Bajaj XCD 125 - Getting 70+ Mileage Initially." Also visit,"

ATUL replied: "Hey you should really wait for TVS Flame.its awsome."

Sathish NandhaKumar replied: "Dont ever go for tvs and Yamaha, better buy 1.HH 2. Bajaj 3. Honda 4. Suzuki... This is the priority..."

Guidance regarding the discount on bikes? Hello. I want to buy the Hero Honda Glamour 125 bike. Can you please suggest me that whether it is likely to get a discount on bikes in the December end? As it is end of the year, so all my friends and my intution says that the company will provide some discount to clear out 2009 model bikes. When i contacted the dealer in chandigarh, they told that there will be no discount. Whats your openion?

ron h replied: "shop around"

billa replied: "u will kinda gwt discount offers for new year...."

Buster Brown replied: "There are always a few dealers (some years more, some years less) who get stuck with too many of last year's models. If you can wait a bit and hunt around, you can find a good price."

Sleepy replied: "Tell the Dealer, " No discount, No Sale" Cash is King especially in this economy."

i hav HERO HONDA KARIZMA bike. its top speed is approx. 125 kmph.can u tell how to increase top speed? red karizma. nov 2005 model. top speed 125 km/h. sum of you tell about NOS, TURBO etc. can u please give sum details abt them and from where i got them. how they enhence the performance. cost etc.

Ahamed Yasir replied: "Add a torque in it. Some nitrous."

c_82822 replied: "you can install a turbo or get a better ecu system or the easiest is get a shot of nos"

DS2 replied: "Camshaft, turbo, S/C."

Sonny replied: "Chain drive? Increase the number of teeth in the front sprocket and decrease the number in the rear sprocket. Should be comparable stuff in a belt drive, no luck if it's a shaft drive."

ace 2006 replied: "I had a small Hyosung 125cc Easy Rider before and it could not go more than 110km/h no matter how hard I tried. So I found the cheapest way to add on the KMHs.I checked my rear sprocket and as i remember it had 45-47 "teeth",so I changed it to a smaller rear sprocket of 39 "teeth" and immediately I could get an extra 15km/h to it.So an inexpensive way is to reduce the rear sprocket size.It cost me a mere USD3.50 for a local made rear sprocket and some tips to the mechanic. No need to spend a bomb on NOS,TURBO etc."
